Since the initial Season 1 patch last week, a smaller update followed with patch 1.1.0b specifically for Season of the Malignant, ensuring that Malignant Hearts "now always grant armor that directly maps with their item power", as well as removing level requirements for World Tiers 3 and 4. The devs themselves have admitted that Diablo 4 Season 1 is ‘not the greatest play experience’ and have said that further updates and hotfixes are planned in the immediate future to address player concerns. The community was livid at the nerfs to the five classes, with the Barbarian and Sorcerer taking the brunt of them. Patch 1.1.0a introduced the Season 1 content and the changes weren't well received to say the least. With the promise of another Diablo 4 developer livestream on the horizon – specifically the campfire chat announced for this Friday – players are keen to hear what Activision Blizzard intends to do about the current state of the game.
